Red Tail Farm is a wedding venue which perfectly embodies the ‘city meets the countryside’ atmosphere’ giving couples that unforgettable and romantic feel on their special day. Located on an island between Goshen’s Millrace Canal and the Elkhart River,  the farm is on the center of a magnificently renovated 1935 English three-bay threshing barn that’s been updated with up-to-date amenities. This place offers modern convenience while giving off that tranquil and rustic vibe of the countryside. It is also surrounded by lush pastureland and forest with an intimate outdoor ceremony grove and a grassy lawn that will be ideal for games and bonfires.

This family-run urban wedding place only hosts events from mid-May until mid-October.  Red Tail Farm is a beautiful open air, seasonal venue that can accommodate up to 175 guests (due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Governor of Indiana’s Executive orders, they have revised this capacity number; hence it will be best to contact them regarding this changes).

They offer wedding packages that can be personalized with add-ons and a la carte items. The following are their basic wedding packages (copied on their website) rates:

• Twenty-two (22) round tables (60” or 5ft in diameter). Each table seats up to eight (8).

• 300 natural wooden folding chairs with padded seat.

Bridal Suite

• Air conditioned, full-length and wall-mounted mirrors, garment racks, hooks, USB outlets for device charging

SIMPLE SUNDAYS

Looking for something intimate but short and to the point? Then our Simple Sunday option might be for you. Sundays at Red Tail are reserved for micro weddings and events with up to 75 guests. You would have access to the property from noon-8pm. This time frame includes all set up and tear down time. Sunday rentals are only available in May-June or September-October.

Access to the grounds is provided within the following time frames for events:

• Saturday Event    9am-11pm   (post-event tear down until midnight)
• Friday Event        9am-11pm (post-event tear down until midnight)
• Sunday Event      12pm-8pm (no additional set up or tear down time available)

*5 hour block of time available for a Saturday event only, eg. rehearsal, extra set up and decorating.

• 5 hour block may be booked between 2pm-10pm (for 5 consecutive hours)
• You can have up to 25 people at the property for a Friday Add-On.

2021 BAR PACKAGES

Red Tail Farm is the sole provider of alcoholic beverages at the farm and offers various bar service options. You can choose an open bar, cash bar, combination of the two or no bar at all.

• Open Bar – The cost of drinks is covered by the host (minimum 2 hr).
• Cash/Card Bar – The cost of drinks is covered by guests.
• Combination – You can choose to have an open bar for a limited period of time and then switch to a cash bar.

• Large Hexagonal Arch (perfect as a ceremony backdrop or behind the head table): $95

CATERING

There are lots of catering options in the area. We are in the range of service for caterers from South Bend all the way to Fort Wayne. Please talk with us for specific recommendations. We are happy to help.

Red Tail Farm was the most perfect wedding venue for us! As you cross over the one car bridge to get to the venue you would NEVER believe you’re in downtown Goshen. The beautiful twinkle lights throughout the barn, the huge bonfire and outdoor entertaining space, and the circular grove for a private wedding is an ideal venue for those who want an entirely magical experience! We received soo many compliments about the location of our venue. We’re so thankful for Anna, Adam, and Joni. They made every part of scheduling and rescheduling due to the pandemic A BREEZE. LOOK NO FURTHER! This venue is perfect for an outdoor wedding! We did the simple Sunday package, and it turned out beautifully. Anna, Adam, and Joni all went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond to help us set up exactly the way we wanted. They are positive and professional, and are willing to work with you to ensure you have a perfect wedding within your price range and time frame. It’s family owned and operated, and unlike other venues they care more about your special day than draining your wallet. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend Red Tail Farm.

The owners Adam & Ana & manager Joni were absolute delights. Their hospitality was so pure! I have never felt more welcomed. My questions were always answered quickly. Red Tail Farm exceeded my hopes and dreams of my wedding day!
